What situations cause stress in your life?
How do you cope with your stress?
Do your methods of dealing with stress help or hurt you?
Help or hurt others?
The situations that cause me stress often involve deadlines. Most of the time, I don't have to worry about school assignment deadlines because I do my assignments well before that due date, but if a deadline is approaching and I'm not fully confident that I'll finish in time, I get stressed out. Sometimes I just get overwhelmed simply by thinking about things I have to do, and my stress levels spike. It's a bit ridiculous, considering all I have to do is put down my ideas on a to-do list and do them one at a time to realize it's really not that big of a deal, but by the time I'm stressed, it's already too late to calm down.

When I'm stressed, I usually just end up powering through whatever I'm stressed about, especially if it comes to assignments. I listen to music or watch a movie that can calm me down, and then I get to work on figuring out how to keep my stress levels down. Sometimes if I'm stressed enough, I'll just sleep in hopes that it'll work the same as turning off a computer that has frozen and started glitching.

My methods of dealing with stress definitely help me. I don't see anything wrong with actually doing my work, unless I overload myself and end up staying up too late trying to get things done. These methods don't harm others, unless I could count ignoring people to do my work as harmful -- but on the other hand, it probably doesn't help them either, unless it's a group project I'm working on and then I just end up doing the whole thing by myself.

All in all, I think my methods of dealing with stress are very healthy and helpful.
